Company Description:

Orb International is one of the leading suppliers of Corporate and Promotional Merchandise items in the UK, and one of the biggest independent Sourcing Houses, servicing many of the biggest blue chip companies in the UK.

What the project Involved:

• Admin Features – Allows users to be setup as well as being able to change a variety of system settings.
• Catalogue – Add Product details such as descriptions and images.
• Product Features – Set up promotional products and bundles.
• Stock Management – Add in new stock and view transaction records.
• Charge Codes – Allows orders to be tagged to users and custom charge codes.
• Order Management – Managing order details and customer store information.
• Reporting – Custom reports including a stock value report. Each report can be exported in a variety of formats such as PDF and Excel.

Project Title: Defacto-fd

Company Description:

Defacto fd is a Chartered Accountancy firm specialising in providing accounting, taxation and business consultancy for small businesses. They offer fixed fee solutions from a range of products that allow you to choose the service that most suit your needs. As a client you can make use of their Online Accounting and Payroll System which is included as part of their All Inclusive Product range. Defacto fd is perfect if you are: About to start up your own business Already in business but are looking to change your accountant In need of assistance with personal tax What the project Involved: The site included a graphics based design with a personalised Flash banner. One of the main aims of the site was to offer customers the chance to see exactly what was included within each package. This was achieved by including a flash image slideshow and videos of customer experiences on the track. As well as lots of multimedia content, there is also a variety of information pages which were developed using ASP.NET offering the company an up to date and easily maintainable solution. Corporate colours were used throughout the Defacto-fd website. Users are able to securely view their confidential documents such as transaction history. There are a variety of other easy to use portal sections - each dependant on your membership type.

Project Title: Mimax Management

Company Description:

Over the last 3 years, contractors throughout the UK have turned to the Mimax Mosaic Umbrella Company to provide them with a safe and simple working platform when engaging contracts through recruitment agencies or clients.

Mimax offer a new and better experience to contractors by way of a winning combination of customer care and delivery of administration services. Better communication, more reliability and fulfilling promises are the foundation stones on which Mimax has been built.

What the project Involved:

• Designing an engaging and simple to use interface for Mimax Contractors
• Content Management facilities to allow Mimax non-technical administrative staff to easily make amendments to the website
• Dynamic Member Portal for the Mimax Contractors. This innovative website interfaces with Mimax’s ERP software and provides many convenient services and benefits to the Mimax Contractors.

Company Description:

Enterprise Foods has developed a unique supply chain concept for the bakery sector and has worked hard to become an industry leader. Enterprise Foods brings the largest selection of bakery products to its customers and covers the length and breadth of the UK in its delivery capabilities.

Project Title: Dancelines Online

Company Description:

Dancelines started as a shop in East Kilbride, Scotland selling dancewear. After 18 years, they decided they wanted to expand their business selling products through an online store. Dancelines stock products such as leotards and ballet shoes from the country’s leading suppliers including Katz, Tappers & Pointers and Gandolfi.

What the project Involved:

The Dancelines project involved the design of both a client and server side system. This included a shopping facility which allowed customers to browse stock and buy items from their online store.

Incorporated within the Dancelines shopping system was the option to easily edit and maintain its layout and stock. The administrator section is very easy to use and includes a variety of customisation options such as adding new stock, uploading images and editing the look and feel of the system.

Project Title: IceRush

Company Description:

Icerush was set up by ex-British bobsleigh athletes to enable everyone to experience the worlds most exhilarating, adrenaline sports. Offering a variety of packages, including; being driven down as a passenger in a 4-man bobsleigh (bobsleigh race experience ), learning to actually drive a 2- man bobsleigh on an Olympic track (bobsleigh driving experience) and going it alone as you ride the Skeleton sled (skeleton experience).

This, all under the expert supervision and guidance of athletes and coaches who have competed and coached at World-cup and Olympic level. Each package is individually constructed to meet your needs — an unforgettable corporate event, extreme team-building or thrill seekers breaking new ground.
