Business Type A well known all weather clothing company

Solution: An inventory management system for this all-weather golfing wear production & distribution company. Modifications have been made to inventory to handle their 3-tier product matrix - size/colour/fit

The system was developed by Turnkey using Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).

The solution manages their production, sales & purchase order processing and inventory management for raw materials and finished golfing wear products. It is fully integrated to Navision's sales, purchase and nominal ledgers.

As production is completed overseas, extensive foreign currency requirements are also addressed.

The most complex area was the 3-tier nature of their garment stock. Both jackets and trousers have options for size, colour (or design) and fit. Orders are placed using a matrix screen from which users choose, by product, the mix of sizes, colours and fit.

The system was specified, designed and delivered to the customer's satisfaction over a three month implementation period. Turnkey also delivered and configured a new server, PC's and infrastructure.

Based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), the solution was designed to manage customer expectations and provide visibility of job status to ALL staff. Thus, any customer contacting the company to enquire on the status of their project can be informed immediately, irrespective of who picks up the phone. This focus on customer service has ensured that the company has maintained a strong loyal customer base in a very competitive market.

The solution encompasses full order processing, inventory management, job scheduling and costing, and CRM. Full customer details, including many of their preferences for job handling, are maintained in the CRM module which feeds job orders through to the scheduling system. As the job progresses, full visibility is maintained.
