IPS Overview

Turnkey’s IPS program is well-established as the leading practice management package for Insolvency Practitioners in the UK. The system is capable of satisfying the needs of the small independent practitioner right through to those of the larger, multi-national firms. The product is the proven solution for over 5000 insolvency personnel in 500 UK offices. Internationally IPSfW is also used in Hong Kong, Australia and Malaysia.

IPS for DOS

IPS for DOS was the original incarnation of our Insolvency Software and began life in the early 1980’s. The breadth of functionality provided quickly established Turnkey as the leading supplier of software solutions to the Insolvency profession in the UK.

IPS for Windows

IPS for Windows was released in the mid 1990’s in response to user demand for a Windows based product which could take advantage of both the Microsoft Windows graphical interface and interface with Microsoft Office – the desktop environment of choice for most organisations. It quickly moved from a 16-bit to a 32-bit solution as PC technology developed.

There is a high level of integration between IPSfW and Microsoft Office and this is particularly significant in the area of letters and forms production. With all correspondence being generated via Microsoft Word, documents are fully ‘WYSIWYG’, and on-screen viewing is available prior to printing. An extensive document base of some 600+ letters/forms is available for use from day one and users can easily generate their own documentation, utilising all the facilities of a Windows word processor. Links are also available to Excel, permitting users to quickly generate statistical information (e.g. for pre-visit questionnaires of monitoring bodies).

IPS for SQL

IPS for SQL, released in 2006, is the very latest incarnation of the IPS product. Retaining the features which have ensured IPS’s place as the undisputed leader in the Insolvency software marketplace, the SQL version brings the enhanced security and data management of the Microsoft SQL environment. With the advent of the SQL version, Turnkey has added new functionality in response to the demands of our customer base. Change is not made for changes sake since, with over 5,000 licenced users, Turnkey has always developed the product to suit user needs and demands in an ever-changing insolvency world.
